(beginner skills) THE IMPORTANCE OF DESENSITIZING (beginner skills) DESENSITIZING WHILE LONGEING (beginner skills) BITTING UP YOUR HORSE (medium skills) GROUND DRIVING AS A TRAINING AID (advanced skills) | You should practice all training proceedures on a well trained horse before attempting a problem or an inexperienced horse. A well trained horse will allow you to make mistakes without holding a grug or responding in a dangerous manner. Move slowly so everything you teach is totally understood, you will avoid exceeding each others training level. Learning as much as you can about working with horses on the ground will serve as an excellant insurance policy. It is always a good idea to review the basics.
